Chart of the Day: Brazilian Unemployment Rate On The Rise

 1 min read /

It can be seen from the chart that the unemployment rate in Brazil has been spiking higher since the beginning of 2015. Brazil has been struggling with the fallout from the collapse in global commodity prices and its reliance on China for its exports. Rising unemployment is expected to put further brakes on consumer spending making the situation worse.
