Editor’s Remarks:
After a fast double bump upwards between 2008 and 2013, when unemployment reached 12.10%, the EU is making consistent progress in driving down unemployment. EU youth are either going to school or finding jobs with unemployment falling significantly. Youth unemployment across the US, UK and EU have all fallen significantly since 2015. This interestingly follows the number young adults living at home rising around the world, particularly in America. However, with wages expected to rise, perhaps the downward trend may begin to slow or even worse, level.
