Brazil is facing growing economic, political and social problems, in spite of the boost it received through hosting this year’s Olympics. Its president has been impeached and corruption charges keep pouring in. Nigeria and Venezuela are taking a bit hit from the dramatic drop in oil prices (with over 90% of the latter’s exports being oil). Venezuela is also seeing its people drowning in poverty, with shops’ stocks and medical supplies depleted. Cuba, on the other hand, expects its future to be brighter and brighter. With the US rekindling its relationship with Cuba, the country’s geographic location as well as its historical connections with many Americans make it a powerful market for many businesses to expand in.
